Admission Procedures for Entrance

 

Thank you for your interest in the Mosaic International Schools.   Mosaic provides a challenging educational opportunity for students of exceptional to average ability. Sound character, a willingness to accept personal responsibility for one’s own actions, and a motivation to achieve academic success in a demanding program are essential. Mosaic seeks and accepts students for admission without regard to sex, race, color, religion or ethnic origin.

Step 1: Come for a school tour
Parents are invited to email their request to schedule a school tour with the Director to info@mosaicschools.org. Please include your current school’s name. You will meet our teachers and students as well our Director.  All tours are confirmed on a first come, first served basis.

Due to the high demand for placement in Mosaic Community School as well as personnel constraints, we are unable to take requests over the phone. During the tour, we will be happy to answer any questions you may have as well as help you with the application process.

Step 2: Apply to Mosaic Community School

We will review applications and they must include the following forms.

Step 3: Come for an Interview
Once, we have received the application and required forms, we will contact families for an interview. We interview students who the committee feel would most benefit from a student centered, accelerated paced learning environment. 

Application Fee

There is a $50 non-refundable fee to submit an application which is paid by credit card when applying online or check or money order if applying via mail or fax (you may qualify for a waiver if you are applying for the Indiana Choice Scholarship Voucher -please include hyperlink).  If the application fee creates a true financial hardship for your family, a limited number of waivers are available.  Please call the school’s office 219.939.7554 to discuss  a possible fee waiver.

To Submit an Application

Families must submit Part I: the Application Form, which we prefer to be completed online, proof of residency & income (if applying for Indiana Choice Scholarship Voucher hyperlink).  You will receive an email confirming receipt of your online application.  Please note: Part II materials (teacher recommendation, last report card, test results, etc.) do not need to be submitted with the application.  The application itself is sufficient to begin the admission process.
